A second-generation cheese maker, Chantal Plasse crafts only the best and the brightest of French cheeses, in small batches, making them highly prized and hard to find. Bourguignon is a Burgundy cheese, and much like the big red wines of the region, it is bold and rich. Of the triple-cream family, this soft, almost melted cheese is super thick, lingering on the tongue with it's buttery, tangy finish and aromas of mushrooms. Pair with Burgundy. Serve as an appetizer with other cheeses, or slab on a pair of hearty bread and prosciutto.
