Stone-ground cornmeal, Polenta is creamy and rich and can make a great side dish (especially when you're tired of rice!). While hearty, Polenta is still delicate enough to pair with sophisticated cuisine. Very forgiving, you can adjust the ingredients during the cooking if you think it's either too soft, too 'wet' or too dry, so it's a lifesaver for the hassled cook. Melt your favorite cheese over it for a simple and delicious dish (we love comte or gruyere). Once cooled down, you can further cook polenta by grilling it, creating flat slices toasted on both sides and topped with all manner of cheese, nuts, vegetables and more!
