About Garam Masala

A famed spice mix from India, Garam Masala is an intense curry spice blend. Although the world garam means "hot", Garam Masala doesn't deliver a burning hotness, but rather an intense spiciness thanks to the many spices involved. Peppercorns, cloves, cumin, mace, cardamom, nutmeg, coriander and star anise, amongst other spices, blend together for a fabulously aromatic and flavorful curry spice mix.
