About Camargue Red Rice

Camargue Red Rice Camargue Red Rice is an unmilled brown rice hybrid grown in the Camargue wetlands of southern France - the same region famous for its Fleur de Sel. The rice is short-grained and therefore on the sticky side, but with a chewy texture like wild rice, and a fabulous nutty and earthy flavor. Camargue Red Rice is very filling and nutritious, so we think it's perfect for a cold salad main course, perhaps with some almonds, olives, fresh cut herbs and drizzled with olive oil. Or serve it as a side dish pair with sautéed onions and garlic.
