In another bowl, whip the yolks and sugar together. Add the whisky and maple syrup.
Pour slowly the hot milk in the eggs while still whipping.
Eggnog, topping
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup maple sugar
Whip the cream until almost stiff. Whip in the maple sugar.
Serve the egg nog hot , top with the whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon and maple sugar.
