El Majuelo’s Macetilla Sherry Vinegar is a fragrant and richly flavored condiment. Made from Macetilla grapes cultivated in Jerez, in the South of Spain, it has a mild bittersweet flavor that tends more towards the sweet than the bitter. The long aging gives the vinegar a thick, dark texture that feels velvety on the tongue.
Mix with fine extra virgin olive oil to create a stunning salad dressing, or add to sauces or casseroles for extra depth of flavor. Like a fine Balsamic vinegar, el Majuelo’s Macetilla Sherry vinegar can also be fantastic when used to finish dishes like roasted meats, to create glazes and marinades, or even to add some fabulous contrast to strawberries.
