A: The Slices of Fresh Duck Foie Gras can be sauteed or pan fried for easy preparation. Pre-heat the pan before sautéing or frying for best results and cook them quickly to preserve the texture, as if they are overcooked they will just dissolve like butter.
Q: I understand this item is frozen, but how is it packed. Is it IQF?, individually wrapped?, resealable? I usually use 3 ounces to make a truffle butter for scallop risotto.
A: The slices are individually flash frozen, but not individually wrapped. However, they are not frozen together and can be separated easily. The bag is resealable as well.
