Fresh Truffle Crostini Appetizer Recipe

Fresh Truffle Crostini Appetizer Recipe Instructions

  • 1 fresh black truffle shaved thinly
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbsp. black truffle oil
  • Truffle Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Small French Baguette

  1. With the widest size cheese grater, grate the tomato (it should be cut and a bit mashed as well). Then with the smallest side of a grater, grate the garlic clove, and mix both with the oil, salt and pepper. Toss until well combined.
  2. Slice the baguette into thin slices and toast in the oven until golden. Spread the truffle and tomato mix on top of the bread and place 2 or 3 slices of fresh truffle over each toast. Serve warm or cold.
