Marcona Almonds, Blanched, Fried and Salted
Sweet, plump and meaty, Marcona almonds are beloved in Spain, where they're known as the "Queen of Almonds'. Softer than other almonds, these Marconas are peeled, so they're lighter than skin-on Marcona almonds. They're quickly boiled (blanched) and fried in sunflower oil, then only lightly salted with sea salt for flavor. Eat them as a snack, or the traditional way, paired with fine Spanish cheese.
