Aged Balsamic Vinegar Tradizionale from Reggio Emilia - Gold Seal

An extraordinary and complex product, with rich and harmonious fragrances, tends to be more sweet than bitter. It is never used as a dressing, but almost exclusively at the end of a meal with cheese, fruits, custards or ice cream. While most manufacturers use 5 different type of barrels for aging the vinegar, San Giacomo is known for using 7 - oak, chestnut, juniper, cherry, mulberry and acacia. Each distinct wood infused the vinegar with flavor and texture, enriching the liquid.
