This mouthwatering Wagyu short loin is a powerhouse of flavor and tenderness! It can be cut into two of our favorite cuts: the mighty Porterhouse and the hefty T-Bone, both which include a generous amount of super tender tenderloin meat with all that flavor boost from the t-shaped bone.
A genetically privileged breed that’s prized for its finely marbled meat, Wagyu beef is webbed with fine intramuscular fat that melts as it cooks, making every bite sublimely creamy, flavorful and butter-knife tender. Graded Marble Score 3 in the Wagyu scale, our Wagyu Short Loin from Australia is tender and flavorful without being overwhelmingly soft.
Our Wagyu MS 3 Short Loin is offered as a whole 20-lb. muscle, to cut yourself at home, or pre-portioned into assortment of T-Bones and Porterhouse steaks in several choices of steak thickness - from ¾ inch steaks to 2-inch steaks. Because of the uneven shape of this muscle –you’ll receive some large steaks and some smaller ones.
Our premium Wagyu beef comes from Australia. Over there they raise their prized purebred Wagyu cattle – from the same breeds of the famous Japanese Kobe – first on mother’s milk, then free-grazing on the open pastures of Australia, with a finish of a minimum of 300 days on grain to ensure that succulent tenderness. Our Wagyu is antibiotic and hormone free.
