A: Yes, the lamb shanks are halal.

Q: What's the difference between fore shanks and hind shanks as far as size, flavor or other characteristics?
A: The fore shank comes from the front leg and is smaller than the hind shank, which comes from the back leg. The hind shank will also be meatier. Flavor vise they will be very similar, full of bold, meaty flavor.

A: These are 100% raw lamb fore shanks. No dairy added.
