Produced by the Lincet family, one of the most prominent cheesemakers in France, Delice D'Argental comes from Burgundy, where both the cheeses and the wines are bold and sumptous. Delice D'Argental is no exception; rich cream is added to the curd, making this one of those unctous triple cream cheeses that are thick and velvety on the tongue. A chalky bloomy rind matures the cheese quickly, and gives it a mushroomy earthy flavor and pungent, stinky aromas. Pair with a full-bodied Burgundy or a sweet Sancerre. Best for a cheese board. Bring to room temperature before serving.
