Making your own ice cream is as easy as opening a container of frozen fruit puree and blending it with sugar syrup! Our elegant and exotic Passion Fruit and Mango Sorbet recipe is just the thing for a sophisticated summer dessert and is super easy to make.

Passion Fruit Mango Sorbet Recipe Instructions

  • 8 oz. passion fruit frozen puree
  • 8 oz. mango frozen puree
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. Maldon salt
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 limes for garnish

  1. Take the fruit purees and soften (at room temperature or overnight in the fridge). Mix both together in a bowl and reserve in the fridge.
  2. Bring the water to a boil on a medium saucepan and add the sugar, stirring until it dissolves. Turn off the heat, then incorporate the lime juice, and salt. Add this mix to the fruit puree, stirring to mix well. Reserve, covered, in the refrigerator.
  3. Once fully cooled, pour the mix to your ice cream maker bowl and follow the appliance instructions.
  4. Serve it immediately with lime zest and lime wedges as garnish, or store in the freezer for a harder texture.
