Plymouth Artisan Cheddar is the vision of master cheesemaker Jesse Werner. As a native Vermonter, he took his vision of revitalizing the Plymouth Cheese Factory to heart and implemented the Old-World style and recipes they used when the factory was first opened in 1890. Some of the original equipment is used to blend their artisanal cheese with spices and elements from all over the world. Each product is also hand waxed the traditional way to preserve the spicy, rich flavors in this innovative cheddar.
