Product Questions And Answers
Q: I have seen some products for
Calcium Lactate and Calcium Gluconate.
What is the difference?
A: Calcium lactate is 13% calcium and has a medium solubility, while calcium lactate gluconate is 9% calcium and has a low solubility (it needs to be dissolved in hot water, but it's flavorless). Calcium lactate and calcium lactate gluconate are usually used in quantities between 2–5%.
