Lox and Bagel Recipe

A classic Sunday brunch recipe, a bagel with shmear of cream cheese and a few succulent sliced of smoky lox, paired with a strong cup of coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice gives us something to look forward to every morning.

Lox and Bagel Recipe Instructions

  • 4 bagel, halved
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 8 slices (4 oz.) smoked salmon lox
  • 4 tsp. capers, drained and rinse
  • 1 large heirloom tomato, sliced thinly
  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced

  1. Place one bagel on an individual plate. Spread a good amount of cream cheese on each side of the bagels.
  2. On the flat half of the bagel, add two slices of lox, folded. Sprinkle about 1 tsp. of capers, add a slice of tomato and top with the optional red onion. Top with the rounded half of the bagel to close it and serve.
