C&H Powdered Sugar is a confectioner’s sugar with many uses in baking. Confectioner’s sugar is very finely ground granulated white sugar. It has a snowy white color, and a soft fine powdery texture that blends quickly and easily into frostings, glazes, and batters.

Powdered sugar is commonly used in frosting and icing recipes, sugar glazes, and as a decorative powder dusting. Check the box for a quick and easy five minute frosting recipe with real butter. Powdered sugar and orange juice makes a quick and easy sweet glaze that hardens when dry. Powdered sugar can also be used in baking desserts like crepes, macarons, fudge, Russian tea cakes, hard candy, merengue, or tortes. It should be used by professionals when quick dissolving sugar will save time. With a 3% corn starch content, C&H powdered sugar will stay soft and blend easily. It is not recommended to substitute standard granulated sugar when powdered sugar is called for.
