Valrhona Dark Chocolate Block - 70%, Guanaja

Valrhona 70% cacao dark chocolate blends equally well with sweet desserts and peppery savory sauces. The Valrhona dark chocolate block is best melted down for ganache, baked into pastries, in ice cream and sorbets, mixed with cream for chocolate drinks, or all on its own.

Guanaja dark chocolate is an extra bitter 70 percent dark chocolate achieved through a blend of Criollo and Trinitario cacao beans.  Criollo beans offer a fine, sweet, and complex flavor profile; where Trinitario beans are often stronger and more bitter, though still with hints of Criollo complexity. This 70 percent dark chocolate block achieves a remarkable blend, and offers a consistent flavor profile with hints of fruit, floral notes, sweet molasses, and coffee.
