Raspberry Puree
Create the perfect summer sorbet to deliciously escape the heat! This totally natural frozen puree is made of 90% fruit and 10% sugar, no added flavors, colorings or preservatives: simple, fresh and delicious! The folks at Ravifruit harvest the raspberries at their peak of ripeness and craft this wonderful product. Use this raspberry puree to create sorbets, smoothies, ice creams, jellies and jams, sauces, and pastry fillings. However, our favorite is frozen cocktails, only a blender and your favorite liquor needed! To use: thaw out in the fridge for about 12 hours, or at room temperature for 8 hours. Store in the fridge after opening and consume quickly. Product may be refrozen once defrosted and may arrive partially defrosted

Q: I was going to using this as a variegate in ice cream, would it be a good consistency?
A: When thawed out, this puree will have the consistency of freshly pureed raspberry. It should work for the ice cream, but if you find it to be too runny you can try thickening it a bit through various methods.

A: Yes, the Raspberry Puree from Ravifruit is certified vegan.
Q: Can this or any of your fruit purees be used to make Sorbet? We would be adding additional water, your puree, and possibly some additional honey and or mashed fresh fruit.
A: Yes, the Ravifruit Purees including the Raspberry one can be used to make sorbets.
Q: does this have high fructose corn syrup or cane sugar
A: The Raspberry Puree contains cane sugar (10%).
Q: Are the berries non gmo, and organic?
A: Raspberries are GMO Free but not certified organic.
Q: Can the tubs of puree be thawed, put into bags, and refrozen? I sure won't be able to use it all at once.
A: Sure, you can repackage the puree if you prefer. You can also keep it in the original container and cut with a heated knife a portion from it as needed, so you do not thaw out the entire container.
