Farmed Caviar
While caviar has been enjoyed for centuries from wildly harvested sturgeon and other fish, uncontrolled harvesting has depleted this natural resource, not giving the fish populations enough time to recuperate. In order to avoid the depletion of the species, many fish are now farmed in controlled aquafarms all around the world, producing caviar that is both of the highest quality AND sustainable.
